Critical Interventions in Japanese Studies Labs
Over the three-year grant period three faculty members will organize three “Critical Interventions in Japanese Studies Labs.” In one-week intensive series of workshops and research presentations, the labs aim to spark future innovation in Japanese studies research. These labs will invite scholars from across the United States to share and discuss their ongoing research with experts from Japan. The brief descriptions highlight how each lab takes up the theme of Transnational Currents and Connections in Japanese Performing Traditions.
